When we hear the word “restored,” we think of a variety of things, from houses to furniture, cars, and different products. The word means to bring back to a former condition or vigor. The word restored is also a positive by-product of the resurrection. There are many positive components of the Easter story, and being restored is certainly one, as illustrated by the Apostle Peter’s story. He experienced the full joy of being restored, which is a powerful by-product of the resurrection available for us today.
